The Challenges of the Groups;

     After the transfer of Msgr. Manny Villaroman to another parish, the different groups that have been active in the community encountered the following problems;

1. Being private organizations, the groups were prevented from engaging in religious activities without the consent of the Sub-Parish Pastoral Council. This has caused misunderstanding among group members who view themselves as NGO's established to help in the moral and religious formation of the community. 
2. The KRISKA groupings were abolished by the Sub-Parish Pastoral Council (SPPC), the leaders were replaced, and a new movement was started by the SPPC which they called Basic Ecclessial Communities (BEC). This has started a division within the community and up to now no solution to this problem was given. These KRISKA groupings were established to be Basic Ecclessial Communities so why were they replaced? During the time of the late Msgr. Garcia, the KRISKA groupings of Frances was the first to be established. It's a pity the groupings were abolished unceremoniously. 
3. For the past several years the officers of the Sub-Parish Pastoral Council of other Barangays in Calumpit were chosen by the parishoners but  with regards to Barangay Frances, the officers remained the same and no election of officers were allowed.
